The LEGO® RoboRumble Committee is a hands on leadership program for high school volunteers. Volunteers mentor elementary and middle school students, guiding them in designing, building and programming LEGO® robots in anticipation of an exciting, action-packed battle.
Volunteers also take ownership of the program’s many moving parts: constructing battlefields using Fab Lab equipment, designing competition rules, troubleshooting technical challenges and even crafting awards for competition winners. Throughout the program, volunteers hone teamwork, problem-solving, project management and communication skills, growing into confident, capable leaders ready for challenges in and beyond the classroom.
